It's tulip time here in the Skagit Valley. I love the big field of tulips this short time of year and I always think "wouldn't tulip pictures with the boys be so cute". In theory, yes, but each year I try, the boys are somewhat less than cooperative. After a few minutes of begging and a bribe (notice the dollar bill with Conner), I was able to get a few pictures thanks to the fabulous Grandma Marion. We are so lucky to have such a nice grandma!
I will only look at the camera for a dollar, mom....
Ok, maybe I will look this time but only because you promised there was a bird on grandma's nose. There is no bird, only that camera again.....
And with the promise of "If you sit and smile one time that will be the last picture, I promise". Then mom finally gets Braden and Conner to sit and smile.
It was a beautiful day and each boy picked out a bundle of tulips. Braden picked yellow with red specks and Conner picked a bundle of red and yellow tulips. And boys being boys, here they are pretending the tulips were swords.

I'm so jealous! I want to make it to the festival this year, but we're running out of weekends! Very cute pics!
The tulips really just bloomed, you have a little more time. Let me know if you come up!
Cute, cute, cute!
We went on Friday. It looks like we were at the same place. So pretty!
